The drama and chaos of the girls' personal lives were in full effect as the third season picked up where Season 2 left off. In Season 2, Whitney decided to end things with Andrew after realizing she only wanted a no-strings relationship, however things got more complicated when she saw Kimberly and her ex, Canaan kissing. She decided she no longer wanted to room with Kimberly and went to her sorority Kappa. After realizing that one of the Kappa alumnae is transphobic, Leighton convinced her mother not to donate 30k to the sorority, which led to her and Alicia getting back together. Bela's request to transfer schools left season 2 on a tantalizing cliffhanger that had fans wondering what was in store for our beloved quartet as they enter their sophomore year.
Not returning for season 3 is Renee Rapps's Leighton, who will be sorely missed and will only appear in a few episodes. To fill the hole that Leighton's presence will undoubtedly leave, showrunner Justin Noble promises season 3 is about to get a shake-up with the new arrivals of transfer and international students when Gracie Lawrence, Mia Rodgers, and more confirmed additions join the cast. The trailer for Season 3 teases things are going to get even spicer as the girls notice the hot guys on campus. Bela knows she has to get her 1.8 GPA average up and will not be able to transfer. Kimberly has aspirations of being a Supreme Court justice by the age of 53, and Whitney is feeling overwhelmed by all the responsibilities she has going on. Also, Whitney and Bela are still on the outs, but not for long!
