The hilarious comedy "I Love LA" premieres tonight exclusively on HBO Max. The original HBO series, created and executive produced by Rachel Sennott, stars Sennott as Maia, an aspiring talent agent navigating life and love in Los Angeles with her ambitious group of friends. The series will carry eight episodes, dropping weekly episodes every Sunday through its finale on Sunday, December 21.

The charming series offers another perspective on the journey of ambitious friends as they explore their careers and navigate relationships, trying to figure out the ups and downs of living in a big city, fueled by big personalities, the allure of fame, egos, and insecurities.

In addition to Sennott, best known for her roles in Shiva Baby and Bottoms, the series also boasts an impressive cast that includes Jordan Firstman as Charlie, Josh Hutcherson as Dylan, Odessa A'zion as Tallulah, and True Whitaker as Alani. Guest stars include Leighton Meester, Moses Ingram, Lauren Holt, Elijah Wood, Quenlin Blackwell, Josh Brener, Tim Baltz, Froy Gutierrez, and Colin Woodell.

The series will remind you of many previous shows about young, ambitious 20 somethings chasing their dreams in a major city as they navigate relationships and self discovery, but there's something about "I Love LA" that's quite endearing as they explore those issues in a social media landscape through social satire. The magnetism of Sennott makes the series work and is thoroughly relatable.

The first espiode of "I Love LA" premieres Sunday, November 2 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max.

Credits: The series is created and executive produced by Rachel Sennott; executive produced by Emma Barrie, Aida Rodgers, Max Silvestri, and Lorene Scafaria. Directors include Sennott, Lorene Scafaria, Bill Benz, and Kevin Bray.
