"We might be standing on the verge of something great," - Eric Tao.
You already are, Eric! HBO released the trailer for the highly anticipated new season of Industry, set to premiere on January 11, teasing new power dynamics, complicated relationships, and heightened sexual exploits for our favorite financial bankers. With Season 3 nominated for Best Drama at the Critics' Choice Awards, the new eight-episode season will deliver high-octane escapades, with new episodes released weekly.
The series follows the professional and personal lives of a group of young graduates who join London's prestigious investment group, Pierpoint & Co. At the end of Season 3, Harper and Yasmin's friendship came to an explosive breaking point when the two friends parted ways. Their friendship is going to be put to the ultimate test now that Harper, backed by Eric, has every intention of outmaneuvering the new upstart fintech company Tender, backed by Max Minghella's Whitney Halberstram, who has aligned himself with the tumultuous power couple Yasmin and Kit.
The official logline for a highly ambitious and explosive new season reveals, "At the top of their game and living the lives they set out to have as Pierpoint grads, Harper and Yasmin are drawn into a high-stakes, globetrotting cat-and-mouse game when a splashy fintech darling bursts onto the London scene. As Yasmin navigates her relationship with tech founder Sir Henry Muck and Harper is pulled into the orbit of enigmatic executive Whitney Halberstram, their twisted friendship begins to warp and ignite under the pressure of money, power, and the desire to be on top."
Fan favorite Harry Lawtey, who played Robert Spearing, opted not to return to the series. Returning cast members include Myha'la, Marisa Abela, Kit Harington, Ken Leung, Max Minghella, Miriam Petche, Sagar Radia, Toheeb Jimoh, Charlie Heaton, Amy James-Kelly, Roger Barclay, Andrew Havill, Kiernan Shipka, Kal Penn, Jack Farthing, Stephen Campbell Moore, Claire Forlani, and Edward Holcroft.
