Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are back! Fresh off the heels of DC's other highly entertaining animated series, Kite Man: Hell Yeah!, the fifth season of MAX's hit adult animated series Harley Quinn returns today with the first (of ten episodes) titled "The Big Apricot." Based on the DC Comics, the series follows the adventures of Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and the rest of her adventurous friends. New episodes will be released weekly through its season finale on March 20. This season promises continued mayhem as Harley and Poison Ivy set their sites on Metropolis, home of Superman and Lois Lane!

Written and executive-produced by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, and Dean Lorey, when we last saw the dynamic duo in season 4, Harley and Ivy were trying to find their respective identities as Harley was determined to prove herself with the Batfamily and Poison Ivy with the Legion of Doom. After saving Superman, Harley and Ivy formed a new team, "Gotham City Sirens," with Barbara and Catwoman.

The logline for the thrilling season reads Harley and Ivy discover that something sinister is at play and all is not what it seems. Looming threats include Lex Luthor and his sister, Lena Luthor, plus fan-favorite Brainiac. But of course, Harley's crew of misfits and allies will join her on this irreverent journey that takes no prisoners in having fun in the DC sandbox.
