"Adults" is FX's new hilarious comedy that premiered on May 28, 2025, with two of its eight episodes promising tons of laughs. This fun Gen Z series follows a group of five friends who navigate the ups and downs of life while living together in a house owned by one of their parents in Queens, NY.
Created by Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw, through each episode, the gang gets caught up in everyday hijinks of being young adolescents where they share their "meals, anxieties and, occasionally, toothbrushes!"
Per the official synopsis, the show puts a slightly heightened twist on the wins, losses, and humiliations of starting out in the adult world. Whether they're trying to get ahead at work, navigating the healthcare system, hosting a dinner party, or dating in the age of Find My Friends, the group is finding that nothing about the real world is simple, and all their best intentions tend to make things worse.

The series stars:
Malik Elassal as Samir
Lucy Freyer as Billie
Jack Innanen as Paul Baker
Amita Rao as Issa
Owen Thiele as Anton
Each bringing their own quirky personality to the series, "Adults" quickly establishes each character, whether it's a sweetheart and an overthinker, an overachiever, one who struggles with boundaries, or one who strives to be everyone's best friend, the series taps into the "Friends" formula for the new generation anchored by the strong chemistry among its cast.
Never taking itself too seriously, the series is a fun ride with genuine moments of youthful optimism that tug at the heartstrings of its comedy.
New episodes will be released weekly on FX through its season finale on June 18 and made available the next day on Hulu.
