FOX’s Fall Favorites Are Back! 'Best Medicine' and 'Doc' Return September 22

Fall TV is officially back, and FOX is bringing two fan favorites back to the schedule. On September 22, Best Medicine and Doc return with new seasons packed with complicated relationships, challenging medical cases and plenty of reasons for viewers to make Tuesday nights appointment television.
At 8 p.m., Best Medicine returns for Season 2 with Josh Charles back as Dr. Martin Best, the brilliant but blunt physician trying to navigate life and medicine in the quirky coastal town of Port Wenn. Abigail Spencer returns as Louisa Gavin, alongside Josh Segarra, Annie Potts, Cree and Carter Shimp.
Five months after the events of Season 1, Port Wenn is thriving, but Martin's life is anything but simple. His fear of blood continues to threaten his career, while his complicated relationships with Louisa and his ex, Eden, create even more personal chaos. Meanwhile, Louisa considers becoming a single mother through IVF, adding another emotional complication to Martin's already messy world.
Then at 9 p.m., Molly Parker returns as Dr. Amy Larsen in Season 3 of Doc. After losing eight years of memories following a devastating car accident, Amy continues rebuilding both her personal life and her medical career at Westside Hospital.
The returning cast includes Omar Metwally as Dr. Michael Hamda, Jon-Michael Ecker as Dr. Jake Heller, Amirah Vann as Dr. Gina Walker, Anya Banerjee as Dr. Sonya Maitra and Patrick Walker as Dr. Theodore “TJ” Coleman. Blair Underwood also joins the cast this season.
Season 3 raises the stakes as Amy and Sonya take on new leadership responsibilities as co-chief residents while mentoring a new group of interns. With Jake and TJ also facing changes of their own, the hospital is entering another unpredictable season.
Whether you're tuning in for Martin Best's brutally honest bedside manner or rooting for Amy Larsen as she continues putting the pieces of her life back together, FOX is giving viewers plenty to look forward to this fall.
