"Deli Boys" is the fresh new comedy that premiered on Thursday, exclusively on Hulu with 10 episodes. The laugh-out-loud comedy series follows two pampered Pakistani American brothers (Ali and Shaikh) from Philadelphia who lose everything when their convenience store-magnate father suddenly dies, and they are forced to reckon with their father's secret life of crime as they attempt to take up his mantle in the underworld. Suddenly thrust into a criminal empire where they must fight to survive, the brothers must navigate their way through escalated blood and violence, finding themselves way over their heads.
The 10-episode Hulu original comedy, presented by Onyx Collective and produced by 20th Television, is created by Abdullah Saeed (best known for his Vice documentaries) with showrunner Michelle Nader. The series stars Saagar Shaikh, Asif Al, Poorna Jagannathan, Alfie Fuller, and Brian George.

Recurring cast includes:
Kevin Corrigan as Chickie Lozano
Alexandra Ruddy, as Agent Mercer
Tim Baltz as Director Simpson
Zainne Saleh as Bushra
Sakina Jaffrey as Seema
Amita Rao as Nandika
Anish Jethmalani as Patika
Minita Gandhi as Latika
Iqbal Theba as Baba Dar
Sofia Black-D’Elia as GG
During the show's press release, Saeed stated he wanted to make a show primarily about the experience of the Asian American experience as representation of Asian Americans remains very limited throughout the TV landscape. The series offers a humorous ride, balancing comedy with the tropes of practically every crime drama, elevating the brothers' antics as they navigate their new roles in the drug trade with timely jokes bringing awareness to racial stereotypes. The chemistry among the supporting cast anchors the series, where the hilarity is surrounded by chaos. "Deli Boys" never takes itself seriously and is quite over the top, which makes the series compelling and fun to watch. It's self-aware enough to know that there is a little bit of truth and heart peppered throughout the series we can all appreciate, keeping viewers engaged.
All the ten episodes are currently streaming on Hulu.
