Prime Video has dropped the first look images from the highly anticipated second season of The Terminal List, bringing Chris Pratt’s Navy SEAL commander back for a new season that promises bigger stakes.
Nearly five years after audiences were first introduced to Reece, the action-thriller franchise is gearing up for its long awaited return. Produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC and Civic Center Media, The Terminal List Season Two will premiere all eight episodes on Wednesday, October 21, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
Based on Jack Carr’s bestselling James Reece novels, the new season draws inspiration from Carr’s second book, True Believer but Reece is no longer simply hunting down the people responsible for destroying his life. After completing his infamous list, he is left searching for something beyond vengeance, only to find himself pulled into a conspiracy that could have consequences far beyond his own personal war.
That shift gives Season Two an entirely different flavor. While the first season leaned heavily into psychological revenge and survival, the new season expands the franchise into a globe spanning espionage thriller. Reece’s mission will take him across the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East and Europe as he follows a trail that connects Moscow to Langley and reaches deep into his own family history.

Chris Pratt returns in the starring role, once again serving as an executive producer alongside Antoine Fuqua, David DiGilio and Jack Carr. The creative team is bringing Reece into a much larger world, where the danger isn't limited to one enemy or one battlefield.
Fans will also recognize several familiar faces returning for the new season, including Tom Hopper as Raife Hastings, Constance Wu as Katie Buranek, Dar Salim as Mohammed “Mo” Farooq and Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry.
Joining them is an expanded international ensemble featuring Gabriel Luna as Freddy Strain, Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Martin Sensmeier, Arnold Vosloo, Shiraz Tzarfati and more.
The addition of Luna is particularly intriguing, with Freddy Strain becoming part of Reece's increasingly complicated world as the story moves beyond the familiar territory of the original series. The first season established the character and his brutal quest for answers. Season Two is ready to widen the battlefield considerably, transforming Reece's personal fight into an international conspiracy with potentially massive consequences. Jack Carr's True Believer provides the foundation, while the series adaptation brings its own changes and expansion to the story.
The Terminal List Season Two premieres October 21, 2026, with all eight episodes available exclusively on Prime Video.
