The new sweeping adventures of "Robin Hood" premiered exclusively on MGM+ on November 2. With the first two of its ten episodes, weekly episodes will drop on Sundays through its finale on December 28. The gritty series reimagines the classical tale of the legendary hero, who emerges as a courageous leader in 12th-century England, fighting for justice for the poor in Sherwood and Westminster as "rebellion ignites... and the legend of Robin Hood begins to rise."

Produced by Lionsgate Television, the series is co-created and executive-produced by John Glenn and Jonathan English, with Jack Patten starring as the titular hero and Lauren McQueen as Marian.

"Robin Hood" follows the tumultuous journey of a Saxon forester's son turned legendary outlaw, as he navigates the corridors of power and leads a daring fight for freedom and justice. As Rob grapples with his inner demons and battles against the Norman elite, the series weaves a rich tapestry of historical accuracy, modern relevance, and intricate character dynamics. With its expansive scope, including vibrant depictions of medieval England, the Vatican, the Palace at Westminster, and beyond... the series promises an exhilarating, action-packed reimagining of the iconic narrative, offering audiences an unforgettable adventure unlike any other, and a take on this story unlike before.

In addition to Patten and McQueen, Sean Bean stars as the Sheriff of Nottingham, Lydia Peckham as Priscilla of Nottingham, Steven Waddington as the Earl of Huntingdon, and Connie Nielsen as Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine.

The first two episodes of "Robin Hood" are available to stream on MGM+.
