Spoilers ahead!
CBS's hit comedy series "Ghosts" is serving up a special Thanksgiving episode, "Planes, Shanes and Automobiles," in episode six of its fifth season, on November 20, and Kyle (Ben Feldman) is back for a hilariously fun episode.
In their first Thanksgiving episode, made available for review, hijinks ensue when Sam heads to Chicago for her first publishing signing, leaving Jay with our beloved Ghosts of Woodstone Mansion, who are perturbed that he isn't catering to their demands. Sam inherited the mansion in its first season and initially planned to turn it into a bed & breakfast, only to find it inhabited by a very close-knit crew of eclectic spirits of deceased residents who now call it home. A laugh-out-loud, extremely hilarious conversation ensues about which one of the Ghosts' ancestors suffered the most in the Thanksgiving special.
Things get off to a rocky start when Jay is fed up with the Ghosts calling on him for every little thing. He decides he's going to ignore their texts, and the Ghosts decide they're going to enlist Kyle's help in their scheme to get him to come to the mansion since he's the only other person who can communicate with them, claiming they're doing it to "save" Sam and Kyle's marriage. Oh Boy! Of course, when Kyle arrives, Jay is not too happy to see his "nemesis," as Kyle planted a big one on Sam previously.

Meanwhile, Sam and Pete get on each other's nerves during the book tour road trip, and things reach a breaking point when an airline strike threatens their ability to get home in time for Thanksgiving.
The cast of this season includes Rose McIver as Sam, Utkarsh Ambudkar as Jay, Brandon Scott Jones as Isaac, Richie Moriarty as Pete, Danielle Pinnock as Alberta, Asher Grodman as Trevor, Román Zaragoza as Sasappis, Rebecca Wisocky as Hetty, Sheila Carrasco as Flower, and Devan Chandler Long as Thorfinn.
Fun, entertaining, and hilariously funny, the special episode reminds viewers of the true spirit of giving thanks. Don't miss another holiday treat when the series serves up a festive two-part Christmas episode in December.
"Ghosts" airs on Thursdays at 8:30c/7:30c on CBS and is available to stream on Paramount+.
