CBS is taking viewers inside the world of Silicon Valley with Cupertino, a new legal drama starring Mike Colter and Rachel Keller that premiered October 8. From the creative team behind The Good Wife, The Good Fight, and Evil, Robert and Michelle King deliver a timely story about corporate betrayal, legal battles, and the fight to hold powerful technology companies accountable.
Colter stars as Michael Price, a lawyer who discovers that his former tech-startup employer is cheating him out of his stock options. Rather than walk away, Michael teams up with Olivia Siffre (Keller), another recently fired attorney, to launch a law firm representing people who have been wronged by Silicon Valley's wealthiest companies. Armed with firsthand experience and a determination to fight back, the two take on cases that expose the complicated relationship between technological innovation, corporate greed, and personal responsibility.
Their new venture quickly faces challenges. Nik Dodani plays Vikram Malhotra, a coder caught up in a fatal drone accident, while Ella Stiller portrays Christy Palladino, Michael's former assistant, who becomes part of the firm's operation. Busy Philipps joins the cast as Natalia Boutella, the ex-wife of a tech billionaire who could provide crucial financial support, while Renée Elise Goldsberry plays Nichole E. Ferebee, a formidable attorney whose history with Michael as his ex-girlfriend adds another layer of tension to their legal battles. Joe Morton and Steven Pasquale also appear as guest stars.

Beyond its courtroom confrontations, Cupertino explores the human cost of an industry celebrated for changing the world. From disputed stock options to the consequences of emerging technology, the series examines what happens when corporate ambition collides with accountability. Michael and Olivia's experiences give their mission a personal edge, making their fight about more than winning cases; it's about challenging a system that often favors those with the deepest pockets.
The series premiered Thursday, October 8, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, with new episodes airing weekly. The October 15 episode, “Vik & Bo,” follows the firm's defense of Vik Malhotra after a fatal drone accident, while the October 22 episode, “Juno,” centers on a case involving a companion chatbot allegedly connected to a young man's violent actions.
