Move over, Air Force One. Samuel L. Jackson is putting the pedal to the metal in The Beast.
Jackson is trading the Oval Office for the driver’s seat in the explosive new trailer for The Beast and this president isn't waiting around for the Secret Service to save him. When an unknown military force launches a devastating attack, the Commander in Chief finds himself trapped in the middle of a nightmare with nowhere to run except straight into the driver's seat of his heavily armored presidential limousine. What follows is a wild fight for survival that turns the most protected vehicle in America into the President's greatest weapon.
The new trailer wastes no time throwing audiences directly into the chaos, with explosions, gunfire, high-speed pursuits and an enemy whose motives remain shrouded in mystery. As the attack intensifies, Jackson's President discovers that The Beast may be the only advantage he has left, forcing him to push the armored limo — and himself — to the limit while trying to stay alive and protect the country.

What makes this setup so much fun (besides Jackson's infamous F bombs) is the way The Beast flips the traditional presidential action formula on its head. Instead of sitting safely inside a command center while everyone else handles the danger, Jackson's President is right in the middle of the action, speeding through an escalating battlefield while enemies close in from every direction. The presidential limousine isn't simply a means of escape, it becomes a rolling fortress packed with the kind of surprises that could give the President a fighting chance.
Joel Kinnaman joins Jackson as a Secret Service agent caught in the attack, adding another layer to the desperate mission as the two attempt to survive the assault and uncover what is really happening between crashes, shootouts, and high stakes e along the way.
Directed by Renny Harlin, The Beast looks like a throwback to the big action 90's spectacle with massive set pieces and relentless momentum, while giving Jackson an opportunity to deliver the larger than life action role audiences love seeing him play.
