The Cycle of Love returns to theaters nationwide on Sunday, November 1 for a special one-day “Date Night” screening event, inviting audiences to experience an incredible true story of romance, courage, and determination. From executive producer Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Academy Award®-winning director Orlando von Einsiedel, who also directs the film, The Cycle of Love follows a remarkable journey that proves love can transcend distance, social barriers, and seemingly impossible odds.
Set in 1977, the film tells the story of PK, a 23-year-old street artist from Delhi who falls in love with Lotta during her visit to India. Coming from a poor, marginalized family, PK has little to his name, but that doesn't stop him from pursuing the woman who has captured his heart. Armed with a handful of paintbrushes and a second-hand bicycle, he embarks on a nearly 6,000 mile journey across almost a dozen countries to reunite with her.
Starring P.K. Mahanandia and Lotta Von Schedvin, alongside Chirag Benedict Lobo and Mina Dale, the film brings an extraordinary real life romance to the screen, capturing the determination of a young man willing to risk everything for the person he believes is his destiny.
With its special theatrical return, The Cycle of Love offers moviegoers a chance to celebrate romance with a story that goes far beyond flowers and grand gestures. It's a reminder that sometimes following your heart means taking the longest road to find your way home.
