Prison Break: Black Creek - Emily Browning Leads Hulu’s New Thriller

The Prison Break universe is opening its doors again, and Hulu is ready to take viewers behind the walls of Black Creek. The upcoming drama series Prison Break: Black Creek introduces a new group of characters, a dangerous prison and a mystery that could make escaping the facility the least of anyone’s problems.
Emily Browning leads the cast as Cassidy Collins, a former soldier who becomes a corrections officer at one of America’s most dangerous prisons for a deeply personal reason. As Cassidy digs deeper into Black Creek, she finds herself surrounded by inmates, guards and powerful figures whose secrets could put her life at risk.
Joining Browning are Drake Rodger, Lukas Gage, Clayton Cardenas, JR Bourne, Georgie Flores, Kelli Berglund, Myles Bullock, Sam Trammell, Sean Bridgers, Chris Coy, Kerry Bishé, Robin Weigert and Jean Louisa Kelly.
While Prison Break: Black Creek exists within the world of the original Prison Break, the series introduces a completely new story and ensemble, giving the franchise a fresh identity while preserving the suspense, twists and drama fans have come to expect.
Mayans M.C. co-creator Elgin James serves as writer and showrunner, with original Prison Break creator Paul Scheuring joining as an executive producer.
Prison Break: Black Creek is currently in production and will premiere on Hulu, with international availability on Disney+. An official premiere date has not yet been announced.
