Prime Video's new series, BAIT, is laugh-out-loud hilarious, with equal parts chaos, ambition, and raw truth.

Oscar winner Riz Ahmed, who also created and executive produced the series, stars as Shah Latif, a struggling actor on the brink of obscurity. Just when it seems like his dreams are slipping away for good, Shah is handed a lifeline, the audition of a lifetime. But what should be his breakthrough moment quickly becomes a pressure cooker of expectations, secrets, and unraveling relationships.

The series also stars Guz Khan as "Zulfi," Sheeba Chaddha as "Tahira," Sajid Hasan as "Parvez," Aasiya Shah as 'Q,' Weruche Opia as "Felicia," and Ritu Arya as "Yasmin."

Produced by Jax Media and Amazon MGM Studios, the series is set over the course of four high octane days. BAIT pulls viewers into Shah's increasingly volatile world as everything and everyone collide. His family questions his stability, his ex-lover resurfaces with unresolved tension, and the entire world seems to have an opinion on whether he's truly worthy of the role that could change everything.

Beneath the laughs, it's not just a story about chasing fame, it's about the cost of it. BAIT expertly blends drama with relentless pacing, creating a binge worthy experience that feels unpredictable. Each episode peels back another layer of Shah's life, exposing the fragile line between ambition and self destruction.

BAIT is streaming now on Prime Video.
