The web has officially gone dark for Nicolas Cage’s Spider-Noir. Prime Video has decided not to move forward with a second season of the Marvel inspired series, bringing the stylish, hard-boiled superhero drama to an end after just one season.

Cage stepped into the Spider-Verse as Ben Reilly, a weary private investigator navigating 1930s New York while struggling with the ghosts of his past as the city’s mysterious superhero known as The Spider.
