Owen Wilson is back on the golf course, and this time, he’s not just coaching from the sidelines! Apple TV’s hilarious and heartwarming sports comedy Stick returned for its highly anticipated second season on Wednesday, November 4, bringing back the lovable misfits, sharp humor and unlikely friendships that made the first season really entertaining. With bigger ambitions, new challenges and a comeback nobody saw coming, Season 2 is ready to shake things up on and off the green.

Wilson reprises his role as Pryce Cahill, a former professional golfer whose promising career fell apart two decades ago. Season 1 followed Pryce as he attempted to rebuild his life by mentoring Santi Wheeler (Peter Dager), a talented but troubled teenage golfer with the potential to become a superstar. What started as an unlikely partnership eventually became something much more meaningful, giving Pryce a renewed sense of purpose and Santi someone willing to believe in his future.

Now, the stakes are even higher as Santi moves closer to becoming a professional golfer and discovers that having talent is one thing, but living up to everyone's expectations is another. As the young athlete navigates the pressures of his rising career, Pryce begins reconsidering his own future after some unexpected encouragement from his former rival, Clark Ross (Timothy Olyphant). Instead of watching someone else chase greatness, Pryce decides to take another shot at his own dreams, setting his sights on becoming the oldest golfer ever to win a major championship.

Of course, getting back into championship form after 20 years won't be easy, especially for someone carrying as much emotional baggage as Pryce. Joining the fun this season is Rhea Seehorn as Amanda, a talented golf coach who helps Pryce prepare for his ambitious comeback. Marc Maron also returns as the hilariously outspoken Mitts, while Mariana Treviño reprises her role as Santi's mother, Elena, and Lilli Kay returns as Zero. Judy Greer is also back as Amber-Linn, adding to the wonderfully unpredictable group of characters.

The second season also welcomes Billy Zane, John Higgins, Rex Linn, Sasha Alexander and Missi Pyle, along with appearances from golf broadcasters Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman. With Wilson's effortless comedic charm leading the way, Stick continues to balance laugh out loud moments with a surprisingly touching story about second chances, friendship and finding the courage to pursue dreams that once seemed impossible.

Created by Jason Keller, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Wilson and the creative team, Stick returns with a 10-episode second season. The first two episodes premiered Wednesday, November 4, exclusively on Apple TV, with one new episode arriving every Wednesday through the season finale on December 30.

With its entertaining cast, laugh out comedy and a comeback story worth rooting for, Stick Season 2 is another fun ride. Whether you're a golf enthusiast or simply love a good underdog story, Owen Wilson and company are giving viewers plenty of reasons to tune in each week.

The first two episodes of Stick Season 2 are now streaming exclusively on Apple TV, with new episodes every Wednesday.
