Middle school is no walk in the park for Marc (Jude Hill), who struggles with bullies, school, and fitting in. But when his uncle Jake (Chris Pratt), a decorated Navy SEAL recovering from an injury, comes to stay for the summer, he introduces Marc to “Operation Warrior Kid,” a training program designed to build confidence, resilience, and courage.
Starring Pratt, Hill, and Linda Cardellini, "Jake devises the ambitious program based on his SEAL training. Instead of teaching his nephew how to fight, Jake shows Marc what real courage is, facing down his own demons along the way."
Based on the bestselling book by former Navy SEAL Jocko Willink, the film is directed by McG (Charlie’s Angels) with a screenplay by Will Staples (Without Remorse).
