The highly anticipated series, Outlander: Blood of My Blood, premiered exclusively on STARZ on August 8, 2025. The series, which serves as a prequel to Jamie and Claire's epic love story, will carry 10 episodes through its season finale on October 10, 2025. The series has already been renewed for a second season ahead of its season premiere, as the network has high hopes for its success.
Based on the characters by best-selling author Diana Gabaldon, executive producer and showrunner Matthew B. Roberts takes us to the beginning where it all began, exploring the lives and relationship of Claire's parents, Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine) and Jamie's parents, Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) set in two different time periods in the 18th-century Scottish Highlands and WWI in England.
