"Orphan Black: Echoes" is a unique Canadian sci-fi TV series and a spinoff of "Orphan Black." The original series focused on several human clones led by Sarah Manning. Produced by Temple Street Productions and BBC America, the show premiered on March 30, 2013, and concluded its fifth season on June 10, 2017.

In the series "Orphan Black," Sarah, played by Tatiana Maslany, discovers she is a clone after witnessing the suicide of a woman who looks exactly like her. She learns of an illegal human cloning experiment and seeks to uncover the truth about her identity with her daughter Kira and the existence of the other clones.

According to the official synopsis of "Orphan Black: Echoes," the series takes place in 2052, 37 years after the original "Orphan Black" series ends. "Echoes" follows the life of the now adult Kira, played by Krysten Ritter, and her wife as they try to help an amnesiac woman. The futuristic series takes a deep dive into an exploration of the scientific manipulation of human existence. A group of women weave their way into each other's lives and embark on a thrilling journey, unraveling the mystery of their identity and uncovering a heartwrenching story of love and betrayal.

Created by John Fawcett and Graeme Manson, "Orphan Black: Echoes" continues the same universe as "Orphan Black." The series, which consisted of 10 episodes in its first season, premiered in Australia and recently debuted on June 23, 2024, on AMC, AMC+, and BBC America.
