Reel Perspectives
November 3, 2026
NBC is doubling down on comedy, and Monday nights just got a whole lot funnier! St. Denis Medical and The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins returned on November 2 with new seasons packed with outrageous situations, familiar faces, and plenty of laughs. Whether it's an understaffed hospital barely keeping it together or a disgraced football star determined to make a comeback, both comedies bring their own brand of hilarious chaos.
‘St. Denis Medical’ Season 3: The Hospital Chaos Continues

The staff of St. Denis Medical is back, and running a hospital has never looked more exhausting or entertaining. The hit mockumentary comedy returns with Wendi McLendon-Covey as Joyce, the ambitious hospital administrator trying to keep things running smoothly despite a staff that always seems to have something going on.
Season 3 picks up with Dr. Ron (David Alan Grier) recovering from heart surgery, leaving room for the arrival of Dr. Highland, played by guest star Damon Wayans. His larger-than-life personality immediately clashes with Alex (Allison Tolman), while Joyce becomes obsessed with winning Oregon's Best Hospital Administrator award. Meanwhile, Serena (Kahyun Kim) finds herself dealing with jealousy involving Matt (Mekki Leeper), adding another layer of workplace drama to the premiere.
The reunion between former In Living Color stars Wayans and Grier is an added treat, while guest appearances from Tony Hawk, Jimmy Smits, and Martha Kelly promise even more memorable moments. With its lovable characters and perfectly timed humor, St. Denis Medical continues to prove that even the most stressful workplace can deliver some of television's biggest laughs.
‘The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins’ Season 2: Tracy Morgan's Comeback Gets Even Messier

Tracy Morgan is back as Reggie Dinkins, the disgraced former NFL superstar who refuses to let a gambling scandal define his legacy. Still chasing redemption and a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Reggie remains his own worst enemy, which is exactly what makes his comeback so entertaining.
Daniel Radcliffe returns as Arthur Tobin, the documentary filmmaker chronicling Reggie's attempt to rebuild his reputation. Their hilarious dynamic remains at the heart of the series, especially as Reggie's personal life becomes increasingly complicated.
The Season 2 premiere, "We Keep the Kisses," introduces another problem when Reggie's son Carmelo (Jalyn Hall) secretly dates Delilah (Arica Himmel), the daughter of his longtime rival Jerry Basmati (Craig Robinson). Meanwhile, Reggie and his ex-wife and manager Monica (Erika Alexander) attempt to capitalize on his Hall of Fame prospects, with a planned interview involving NBC Sports personality Mike Tirico adding to the madness.
Bobby Moynihan returns as Reggie's loyal friend Rusty, while Boris Kodjoe joins the season as a potential love interest for Monica. Between Morgan's outrageous antics, Radcliffe's deadpan reactions, and Alexander's sharp comedic timing, the series delivers a hilarious look at one man's determination to reclaim his glory, whether anyone believes in him or not.
NBC's Monday Nights Are Worth Tuning In For
Both comedies deliver plenty of laughs without losing the heart of what makes their characters so entertaining. St. Denis Medical thrives on the unpredictable relationships between its hospital staff, while The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins proves that second chances can be just as messy as the mistakes that made them necessary.
St. Denis Medical Season 3 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT, followed by The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins Season 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. New episodes are also available to stream the following day on Peacock.
