Prime Video's gritty new series, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, premiered exclusively on August 27, releasing the first three of its seven episodes. Dark Wolf serves as a prequel and an origin story to Prime Video's 2022 espionage thriller series, The Terminal List, starring Chris Pratt as U.S. Navy SEAL Lieutenant Commander James Reece, who seeks to avenge the murder of his family. The new series follows the journey of Navy SEAL Ben Edwards (Taylor Kitsch) from the Navy SEALs to the clandestine side of CIA Special Operations, as he struggles not to give in to his darker impulses.
Co-created by The New York Times bestselling author of The Terminal List, Jack Carr, and Season One creator-showrunner David DiGilio, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, the series explores the darker side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it. The psychological thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way to the season finale. Each episode pulses with drama and suspense in high-octane action sequences, immersing you in the morally ambiguous world that Edwards finds himself in.
Anchored by some of Hollywood's familiar faces and returning characters from The Terminal List, with intense, visceral performances by the ensemble cast, Kitsch's portrayal of Edwards is magnetic as a weary, battle-born warrior. The series once again provides authentic portrayals of the brotherhood and moral challenges of Special Operations by boasting the military experience of real-life veterans who contributed as writers, actors, on-set technical advisors, and executive producers for the creative execution of the series.

Additional cast for the series include:
Tom Hopper as Raife Hastings
Robert Wisdom as Jed Haverford
Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry
Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq
Rona-Lee Shimon as Eliza Perash
Shiraz Tzarfati as Tal Varon
Jared Shaw as Ernest Boozer Vickers
LaMonica Garrett as Bill Cox
Chris Diamantopoulos as Aaron Fuller
Fady Demian as Daran Amiri
Chris Pratt reprises his role as James Reece, and his presence serves as a reminder of the greatness of the original series. Each episode of Dark Wolf is filled with heart-pounding energy, with themes of loyalty, betrayal, and unfilching violence amplifying every scene, fueled by the excellent cinematography that makes every episode feel cinematic. The series is further enhanced by the ambiance of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Simple Man," setting the tone.
Dark Wolf is more than just a prequel. It's an experience. It's a great addition to the franchise that hopefully sets the stage for exploring other fan favorites in their individual arcs in the future. In a world where morals are often compromised despite the best of intentions, the series beautifully blurs the lines between right and wrong. There are no easy answers, only the personal cost that comes with war.
The entire season of "The Terminal List" and the first three episodes of "The Terminal List: Dark Wolf" are exclusively available on Prime Video, with new episodes released every Wednesday.
The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is executive produced by Taylor Kitsch alongside Chris Pratt through Indivisible Productions, writer and showrunner David DiGilio, author Jack Carr, Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick through Hill District Media, former Army Ranger and writer Max Adams, and former Navy SEAL, writer, and technical advisor Jared Shaw, as well as Emmy-winning (Shōgun) pilot director Frederick E.O. Toye. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC and Civic Center Media.
