"Everbody Still hates Chris" continues the laughs on Comedy Central

Everybody Still Hates Chris is the animated sequel to Chris Rock's sitcom Everybody Hates Chris, which initially aired from 2005 to 2009 on UPN and then CW. The animated series premiered on Comedy Central on Wednesday 25.
According to Comedy Central's official synopsis, Everybody Still Hates Chris will feature Chris Rock as an adult as he continues to narrate stories inspired by his life experiences growing up as a skinny nerd in a large working-class family in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, during the late 1980s.
Everybody Still Hates Chris was created by Chris Rock and Ali LeRoi and produced by Rock and Sanjay Shah. Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina also executive produced. 3 Arts Entertainment's Michael Rotenberg and Dave Becky, with production companies CBS’ Eye Animation Productions and CBS Studios’ animation. Titmouse also provides the animation.
The original cast members from the sitcom, who have become fan favorites, return to voice the main characters. Terry Crews and Tichina Arnold reprise their roles as Julius and Rochelle Rock, Chris' parents. Tim Johnson Jr. stars as Young Chris, replacing Tyler James Williams, while Chris Rock, who also serves as executive producer, returns as the voice of Adult Chris, narrating each episode. Other voice actors include Ozioma Akagha as Chris' sister Tonya, Terrence Little Gardenhigh as Drew, and Gunnar Sizemore as Greg, Chris' friend.
Several guest stars will appear this season, including Rickey Smiley, Sam Richardson, Tisha Campbell, Ayo Edebiri, Sally Jessy Raphael, and Busta Rhymes.

The original series was critically acclaimed for its cast and for highlighting relevant social issues. Everybody Hates Chris earned a NAACP Image Award and has been nominated for several prestigious awards, including the Emmys and the Golden Globes. It is available to stream in its entirety on Paramount+.
The new series continues to deliver lots of laughs while everybody still hates Cris.
