You're Cordially Invited is the hilarious new rom-com from Prime Video starring Will Ferrell (Saturday Night alum) and Reese Witherspoon (Legally Blonde, Walk The Line). The official synopsis reveals when two weddings are accidentally booked at the same venue on the same day, each party will stop at nothing to make sure their loved one secures the spot on their special day. In a battle of wills, the father of one bride and the sister of the other bride chaotically go head-to-head, stopping at nothing to uphold an unforgettable celebration for their loved ones.

Written and directed by Nicholas Stoller, executive producers include Ferrell, Witherspoon, and Stoller exclusively for Prime Video.

Prime Video

Jim is a widowed and also a girl's dad. So much so that his entire world is centered around his daughter Jenni after the death of his wife. After learning from Jenni with a surprise announcement that she's engaged to her boyfriend Oliver, Jim decides it's going to be a sweet idea to get married at the same venue he and his wife did, so he books the date at the same island venue, the Palmetto Inn. Unfortunately for Jim, Margot, the executive producer who's estranged from her family but loves her younger sister, Neve, to death, also books the same venue on the same day for sentimental reasons when she learns that her sister is also engaged to her boyfriend, Dixon.

Non stop laughter ensues when both Jim and Margot realize the venue is double booked, and the supporting cast ups the ante with colorful moments that illicit genuine laughter. Throw in the usual hijinks that come with a typical rom-com that includes culture clashes, misunderstandings and confessions, tempers flare and sparks flying between the two leads trying to preserve their respective wedding dates.
