Netflix's hugely popular Emmy winning series "Wednesday" is finally back for a second season after almost a three year hiatus. Part 1 premiered on August 6, featuring four episodes, while Part 2 will be released on September 3, completing the season with the remaining four episodes.
Our favorite pig-tailed gothic teen, Wednesday (Jenna Ortega), returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await. This season, Wednesday must navigate family, friends, and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem. Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery.
When "Wednesday" debuted on Netflix in 2022, it quickly became the second-most watched English language series, racking up billions of views. It's easy to see why this supernatural series became an instant hit, thanks to the fantastic performances by Jenna Ortega and the rest of the cast. The second season builds on the success of the first, maintaining the same dry humor and memorable one-liners. The show is helmed by creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, with the iconic Tim Burton as the executive producer and director. Burton, best known for his dark fantasy films, brings his trademark gothic style to the second season.

In addition to Ortega, this season boasts an impressive star-studded cast stacked with familiar faces that includes Steve Buscemi, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Luis Guzmán, Hunter Doohan, Billie Piper, Isaac Ordonez, Victor Dorobantu, Georgie Farmer, Moosa Mostafa, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah Taylor, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo.
Guest stars include Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Jamie McShane, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, and Joonas Suotamo, with appearances by Fred Armisen and Christopher Lloyd. Lady Gaga and Frances O'Connor will guest star in Part 2.
Fans can look forward to more thrilling adventures with Wednesday Addams and the rest of the Addams family in the future, as a third season has already been greenlit ahead of the highly anticipated Season 2.
The first four episodes of Wednesday are available to stream now on Netflix.
