The new sizzling BET+ original series Divorced Sistas, created, written, and directed by the prolific Tyler Perry, debuted on June 9. The series, a spinoff of BET's immensely popular drama, Sistas, stars LeToya Luckett and follows five close friends — Rasheda, Geneva, Naomi, Tiffany, and Bridgette — as they navigate life, love, and the challenges that come with divorce, marriage, and dating. As they lean on each other through heartbreak and healing, their biggest test comes from within their own circle, challenging their loyalty, character and true bond of sisterhood. The first season will consist of eight episodes, with new episodes released weekly through the midseason finale on Thursday, July 24.
Boasting an impressive ensemble cast, the series is the second spinoff of the Sistas franchise, following the success of the hit dramedy Zatima, which premiered in 2022 under Perry's expanded multiyear content partnership with BET Media Group. Perry's original series, Sistas, has been a monster hit for BET, first premiering in 2019 and carrying eight seasons.

The series stars:
LeToya Luckett ("Greenleaf") as Rasheda
Khadeen Indréa ("Ellis Ever After") as Geneva
Porscha Coleman ("All American: Homecoming") as Naomi
Briana Price ("Step Up: High Water") as Tiffany
Jennifer Sears ("BMF") as Bridgette
RonReaco Lee ("Survivor's Remorse") as William
DeVon Franklin ("Kingdom Business") as Pastor Jefferson
Donovan Christie Jr. ("The Oval") as Franklin
Robert Christopher Riley ("Dynasty") as Javon
Scandals, revenge, cheating, and drama! Perry once again offers a guilty pleasure for fans to sink their teeth into, featuring relatable women representing different stages in their lives as they navigate the challenges of love, relationships, and matters of the heart.
"Divorced Sistas is a story of resilience and the power of female friendship," Perry released in a statement. "It is my hope that audiences will fall in love with these dynamic characters and that they will be able to explore their own personal truths about healing and love in the process."
The first episode of Divorced Sistas is currently streaming on BET+, with episode 2 premiering on Thursday, June 12.
