The Beatles, the most influential and celebrated rock band of all time, are back to remind us of their legacy with the new remastered documentary "The Beatles Anthology." The first three episodes premiered exclusively on Disney+ on November 26, 30 years after its original release in 1995. Fans of the iconic British group are in for a treat, as the remastered version includes an intimate, never-before-seen bonus episode featuring the Fab Four during the creation of the original 1990s multimedia Anthology series.
Featuring the group's members, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and John Lennon, the series includes archival interviews that trace the band's journey from their humble beginnings in Liverpool in 1960 to their incredible rise during Beatlemania, offering a complete history of the band through the perspectives of all four members. Episodes four, five, and six was released on November 27, followed by episodes seven, eight, and a brand new episode nine on November 28.
Over the years, many documentaries have detailed the bandmates' individual successes, commercial accolades, and controversies through archival footage, interviews, concerts, and performances however the remastered version produced by filmmaker Peter Jackson's production company is definitely worth the watch. The remastered version includes the compilation album "Anthology 4," alongside the remastered editions of the multimedia Anthology compilations from the original release by Apple Records.
