The mission is far from over.
Paramount+ has officially dropped the adrenaline fueled teaser for the highly anticipated third season of Lioness, giving fans a glimpse at what may be the most dangerous and personal chapter yet for Joe and her elite team of operatives. The hit espionage thriller returns Sunday, August 2, exclusively on Paramount+.
Created by the ever prolific Taylor Sheridan, Lioness continues to raise the stakes with its covert operations, political intrigue, and emotional drama. Season Three finds Oscar-winner Zoe Saldaña back in action as Joe, alongside fellow Oscar-winner Nicole Kidman as Kaitlyn, with both stars once again serving as executive producers.
The newly released teaser promises a season packed with tension, betrayal, and high risk missions. Hidden networks, foreign operatives, and unseen enemies are moving in the shadows, forcing Joe to confront threats that strike much closer to home than ever before.

As chaos unfolds, Joe finds herself balancing the demands of duty with the growing dangers surrounding her personal life. Guided by Kaitlyn and Byron Westfield (Michael Kelly), she begins uncovering patterns that "don't make sense, disappearing names, and shifting alliances", per the release. What starts as another assignment quickly evolves into a battle where the enemy may already be inside the walls.
The impressive ensemble cast returns, including Morgan Freeman, Michael Kelly, Laysla De Oliveira, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Genesis Rodriguez, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Thad Luckinbill, Hannah Love Lanier, and Ian Bohen.
Since its debut, Lioness has become one of Taylor Sheridan's most acclaimed television projects, hailed for its powerful female leads and high-voltage action sequences depicting modern warfare and intelligence operations.
Fans looking to catch up before the new season arrives, Seasons One and Two of Lioness are currently available to stream exclusively on Paramount+.
