Prime Video's hilarious and vibrant futuristic comedy uploaded its final laughs in the 4-part series finale that dropped today in more than 240 countries and territories around the world. In a series where holographic phones, self-driving vehicles, AI assistance, and 3D printers are the norm, humans can upload their consciousness to a luxurious digital afterlife of their choosing. The series wraps with a bittersweet finale after four seasons, having debuted its first season back in 2020.
Centered around Nathan Brown, a 27-year-old computer engineering grad who recently passed away, the series is created and executive produced by Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks & Rec) and boasts a terrific ensemble cast that includes Robbie Amell as Nathan Brown, Andy Allo as Nora, Kevin Bigley as Luke, Allegra Edwards as Ingrid, Zainab Johnson as Aleesha, and Owen Daniels as A.I. Guy.

The season finale of the third season left us with a tantalizing cliffhanger as we were faced with two Nathans, not knowing which one called Nora, or Ingrid, the two women caught up in Nathan's love triangle. The four-part series finale event sees sentient AI rapidly turn evil, threatening to wipe out Lakeview (and the world!). On top of greedy executives, lingering mysteries, plus heartbreak in VR and IRL, our characters are tested like never before. The only way they can get through it all and save humanity from deletion is by teaming up one last time.
With a great cast and original premise, "Upload" was one of the most entertaining and underrated series that never quite found its footing. Often targeting capitalism and technology with a smart satirical approach, the series was fresh and quirky. Always hilarious, with silly and emotional moments that were quite endearing, the series thankfully gave our beloved cast of characters the closure that they needed.
Tune in to see how Nathan and his friends' chapter ends! The fourth and final season of Upload is currently streaming on Prime Video.
