Sylvester Stallone is back as the impeccably tailored, cigar-smoking mobster Dwight "The General" Manfredi in the highly entertaining and hilarious third season of "Tulsa King," exclusively on Paramount+. This crime series has been a massive hit for Paramount, racking up over 159 million views in its second season, and has already been renewed for a fourth season.

Season 3 features a star-studded lineup that includes Robert Patrick and Samuel L. Jackson, who will appear as Russell Lee Washington Jr. and will later headline his own highly anticipated spin-off series, "NOLA King," also airing exclusively on Paramount+.

This season, Dwight faces his most formidable challenge yet, and the new season consists of ten episodes, with new episodes released weekly, through the season finale on November 23.

Created by Taylor Sheridan (the creative force behind Paramount's flagship series "Yellowstone" and its prequels, as well as "Lioness," "Landman," and "Mayor of Kingstown") with new showrunner Dave Erickson for season three, the first season debuted back in 2022. The series follows Dwight, a Mafia capo freshly released from prison after serving a 25-year prison sentence. Sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma, he quickly makes a name for himself as he establishes his own empire with a newly formed crew, while making more enemies along the way.

In Season 3, as Dwight's empire expands, so do his enemies and the risks to his crew. Now, he faces his most dangerous adversaries in Tulsa yet: the Dunmires, a powerful old-money family that doesn't play by old-world rules, forcing Dwight to fight for everything he's built and protect his family.

"Tulsa King" cast guide for season 3 includes:

In a September 2025 interview with TV Insider, Stallone enthusiastically shared, "I've been wanting to play a gangster my whole life and it just never happened. I am incredibly surprised by the success of this show, but I had a gut feeling that if I played it a little bit differently, and they surrounded me with a great cast, I thought we would pop."

Season 3 wastes no time in getting to who kidnapped Dwight at the end of Season 2. You can't keep Dwight down for long because he is the Tulsa King, after all. This season, the stakes have never been higher as the danger to Dwight and his family has never been more suspenseful, with a real sense of urgency that Dwight has finally met his match with an excellent Robert Patrick, who plays Jeremiah Dunmire. As Dwight looks to expand his empire in the beer business, Dunmire is right there as the ultimate foil to ensure he fails at every turn. With the walls closing in, a new threat has also emerged as New York's Renzetti crime family has placed a hit on Dwight to eliminate him once and for all.

This season is dangerous with some genuine comedic moments that will make you laugh out loud and levies the more serious subject matter, placing this season as one of the best seasons to watch. In the Sheridan-led universe, you will find more than a few familiar faces, and this season is no exception. Watching veterans like Grillo, McDonough, Russo, and Pollak work their magic gives this season a presence of old-school mafia charm. Stallone has never been better. In his first scripted series for television, he has found his niche and proven in a decades-long, storied career that he still has the IT factor.

The first episode of S3, "The Tulsa King," is streaming now. The first and second seasons of "Tulsa King" are available to watch exclusively on Paramount+.

The series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios.
