Paradise is the gripping suspense thriller from Hulu that debuted one day earlier ahead of its planned release on Sunday, January 26, followed by the second and third episodes on Tuesday, January 28. New episodes will be released every Tuesday through the season finale on March 4. The Hulu Original stars Sterling Brown as Xavier Collins, a secret Service Agent assigned to protect the President. When the President ends up dead, the mystery surrounding his death leads Collins down a path of intense scrutiny where everyone is a suspect, including himself.
Created and executive produced by Dan Fogelman (This Is Us, Only Murders in the Building), executive producers include Brown, Glenn Ficarra, Jess Rosenthal, John Hoberg, and Steve Beers, with production by 20th Television.
The series stars:
Sterling K. Brown as Agent Xavier Collins
Julianne Nicholson as Samantha Redmond
James Marsden as President Cal Bradford
Sarah Shahi as Dr. Gabriela Torabi
Jon Beavers as Agent Billy Pace
Krys Marshall as Agent Robinson
Nicole Brydon Bloom as Agent Jane Driscoll
Cassidy Freeman as President Cal Bradford's wife
Gerald McRaney as President Cal Bradford's father

Brown returns to TV and reunites with Fogelman nearly three years after working together on the award winning, superb series This Is Us, which ran on NBC for six seasons. At the heart of this high-profile whodunit is Brown, who delivers a Collins that is completely efficient, calm, and cool under pressure. The first episode immediately reveals that everything is not what it seems, and the color palette used throughout the series is an interesting choice. When the idyllic, picture-esque community is rocked by the President's death, many highly influential residents are prime to be the murder suspect, especially since the President was hiding a secret that involves billionaire Samantha Redmond.
The episodic description is as follows:
Episode 1 - Wildcat is Down -It's just another day in Paradise until Agent Xavier Collins discovers one of the world's most powerful individuals has been viciously murdered. Xavier analyzes the crime scene while recalling his complex relationship with the victim.
Episode 2 - Sinatra - Agent Xavier Collins is interrogated. Samantha Redmond (codenamed Sinatra) begins to reassure the community as she reflects on how she got to Paradise.
Episode 3 - The Architect of Social Well-Being - Isolated, Xavier seeks answers on his own and cautiously turns to Dr. Gabriela Torabi. Meanwhile, Billy and Jane feel the pressure from Robinson's investigation.
Episode 4 - Agent Billy Pace - The citizens of Paradise celebrate at the annual carnival. Xavier and Billy delve deeper into their investigation.
Episode 5 - Title (To be announced) - Xavier faces the consequences of his investigation, forcing him to consider how to proceed. Meanwhile, Cal's family history and his last days are examined.
Episode 6 - Title (To be announced) - Xavier and Robinson set their plans in motion while Sinatra works to preserve the status quo in Paradise.
Episode 7 - Title (To be announced) - Sinatra and Xavier confront the past, returning to the harrowing day that brought them.
Episode 8 - Title (To be announced)- Xavier and Robinson race to find President Bradford's murderer before it's too late.
The first seven episodes were available to critics and the series is masterfully woven with twists and turns you will not see coming. The series gives us plenty of flashbacks to connect the past with the present, creating an atmospheric series. When you think you have it figured out, Fogelman raises the bar, leaving viewers with a highly engaging series.
The first three episodes of Paradise is exclusively streaming on Hulu.
