The seventh and final season of Paramount+ SEAL Team, the military drama, premiered with 2 intense episodes aptly named "Chaos in the Calm" on August 11, 2024. With ten episodes, new episodes are available to stream weekly on Sundays and will conclude on October 6, 2024.

Created for CBS and Paramount+ by Benjamin Cavell, the series is produced by CBS Studios. Dana Greenblatt, Tom Mularz, Mark Semos, Todd Lewis, Kate DiMento, and Chris Leanza also served as producers. It initially premiered on CBS on September 27, 2017 and the first five seasons were broadcast on CBS. In May 2021, the series was renewed for a fifth season and exclusively moved to Paramount+, with the fifth season premiering on October 10, 2021.

SEAL Team follows the professional and personal lives of the Bravo Team, a sub-unit of the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG), the most elite unit of Navy SEALs, led by Jason Hayes (David Boreanaz), who must guide his team of experts through the world's most dangerous missions.

Hailed for its action-packed episodes and character-driven storylines, the series has developed a loyal fanbase since its inception. The final season picks up from season 6 with Jason bravely speaking publicly about his traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder, inspiring other SEALs to step forward as they each face new responsibilities.

According to the official synopsis, Jason and the Bravo Team company enter unfamiliar territory. They must adapt to a new era of warfare against powerful rival forces. Jason faces being a single father back home while second-in-command Ray Perry (Neil Brown Jr.) grapples with retirement. Meanwhile, Sonny Quinn (A.J. Buckley) struggles with the new responsibilities he takes on when his teammates move to other positions, and Omar Hamza (Raffi Barsoumian) and Drew Franklin (Beau Knapp) attempt to heal past traumas.

The last episode of the finale is mysteriously titled "The Last Word," heightening the mystery of a bittersweet ending, however Boreanaz has gone on record stating it is one of the most satisfying endings of all for him.
