The third season of the action-packed series "Reacher" is back on Prime Video and not a moment too soon as the highly anticipated series is very addictive! Alan Ritchson returns as Jack Reacher, our favorite ex-military cop turned vigilante who always travels solo and trouble always seem to find him wherever he goes, however with plenty of charm and physical machismo, Reacher outwits his opponents every single time.
Based on the novels by Lee Child, the third season is based on the seventh book of Lee Child's Persuader and debuted today on Prime Video with three of its eight episodes. New episodes will be released every Thursday through its season finale on March 27, 2025. The fourth season has thankfully already been picked up, so fans of "Reacher" can breathe a huge sigh of relief!
In the third season, Reacher is thrust into a criminal enterprise in Portland, Maine, in an attempt to rescue an undercover DEA informant whose time is running out. Per the official logline, he finds a world of "secrecy and violence and confronts some unfinished business from his past". This season finds Reacher deep undercover to unmask a huge conspiracy, leading him to rug merchant Zachary Beck, who is connected to his undercover operation. Partnered with DEA Agent Susan Duffy, we're introduced to a brand new set of characters, including Paulie, a 7'2 hulking nemesis for Reacher, and returning fan favorite Frances Neagley, who is set to lead her own spinoff when she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident and becomes hell-bent on justice.

Developed by showrunner Nick Santora and executive produced by Santora, Lee Child, and Scott Sullivan, production companies include Amazon MGM Studios, CBS Studios, and Skydance Television.
The series stars:
Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher
Maria Stern as Frances Neagley
Anthony Michael Hall as Zachary Beck
Sonya Cassidy as Agent Susan Duffy
Brian Tee as Quinn
Johnny Berchtold as Richard Beck
Roberto Montesinos as Agent Guillermo Villanueva
Daniel David Stewart as Agent Steven Elliot
Olivier Richters as Paulie
This season, the stakes have never been higher as Reacher is once again personally motivated, fueled by a tragic moment in his past. In each episode, we almost exclusively see Reacher's character development unfold as he relentlessly pursues justice in every action packed, fantastically choreographed scene. The action sequences are intense and gritty and land a satisfying punch as Reacher is at his most intense this season. Even the softer moments are just as effective, which often hold quieter moments of reflection and are perfectly well done. This season is highly entertaining from start to finish, filled with immersive suspense, drama, action, and a few bouts of well-timed comedy to levy the intensity of what's unfolding. Season 3 is superb on every level. Grander in scale as Reacher is at his absolute best and Ritchson embodies the role in every way. It's also worth noting that without knowing the series is based off Lee Child's series of books, the series stands on its own as a terrific vigilante/ anti hero we can root for. Yes, there are plenty of anti heroes already on television, but there's something about Ritchson's Reacher that stands a cut above the rest. With fantastic writing, direction, great action sequences and and nuanced performances by Ritchson, the third season was well worth the wait.
The first three episodes of Reacher are available to stream on Prime Video, followed by weekly episodes every Thursday through March 27.
