On Call is a high octane drama and packs a thrilling punch within each of its 30 minutes. With a fresh take on police procedurals using a mixture of bodycam and dash camera, this series mostly tells the narrative from the body cam, giving viewers an intimate feel of what the officers are experiencing in real time. At the center of the series is the guilt that hunts Harmon, who is obsessed with finding the killer of her former trainee who was murdered at the beginning of the series and has her butting heads with not only the local gang but also her Lieutenant and fellow veteran officer Lasman.

Harmon took off her rose-colored glasses years ago, and the perky optimism is no longer there as she teaches and even tries to mentor her new trainee, who is filled with new optimism fresh out of the Academy. They both have different definitions of what it means to protect and serve the community as moral ambiguity comes into focus.

Each episode takes viewers on a different call in an era where cell phones from the public snap every detail. There's no room for error as Harmon accidentally gets recorded threatening a suspect and the repercussions that may ensue if it ever goes public.

On Call is a riveting, pulsating drama with action-packed episodes from start to finish.

All episodes of On Call are currently streaming on Prime Video.
