It’s time to FIGHT!

Paramount Pictures is turning the volume all the way up as the latest trailer for Street Fighter arrives, promising a wild, nostalgic, and seriously hard hitting trip from the arcade to the big screen.

The newest look at Street Fighter is loaded with explosive martial arts action, outrageous personalities, iconic fighters, and plenty of the larger than life energy that made the beloved Capcom franchise a gaming phenomenon. With Ryu, Ken Masters and Chun-Li leading the charge, the upcoming movie looks ready to throw audiences directly into the chaos of the World Warrior Tournament.

Set in 1993, the story follows estranged fighters Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo), whose lives are thrown back into the world of combat when the mysterious Chun-Li (Callina Liang) brings them together for a tournament where the stakes are far greater than simply proving who is the strongest. Behind the brutal competition is a dangerous conspiracy that forces the former friends to confront each other, their pasts, and a threat that could leave everyone saying GAME OVER.

If you grew up spending hours at the arcade trying to master your Hadouken, this trailer is basically catnip. The new footage gives fans plenty of familiar faces to get excited about, including Jason Momoa as Blanka, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Cody Rhodes as Guile, Roman Reigns as Akuma, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as Balrog, Orville Peck as Vega, Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim, Olivier Richters as Zangief and Hirooki Goto as E. Honda, alongside Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki and Eric André as Don Sauvage.

The trailer also leans into the signature spectacle fans expect from Street Fighter, with Hadoukens, roundhouse kicks, brutal hand-to-hand battles and classic character moments designed to feel instantly recognizable.

Director Kitao Sakurai brings his distinct personality to the franchise, while the filmmakers clearly embrace the theatrical fun that made Street Fighter such an enduring pop culture staple. The new trailer suggests audiences can expect spectacular fights, ridiculous personalities, unforgettable characters, and enough arcade nostalgia to make longtime players want to dust off their controllers.

Street Fighter opens exclusively in theaters on October 16, 2026.
