Paramount has released the second trailer for Street Fighter offering a glimpse at the latest attempt to translate Street Fighter to the big screen.
The trailer throws viewers straight into the chaos of the World Warrior Tournament. Neon-lit arenas, global locations, and rapid fire fight sequences set the tone for a film that’s aiming to be as visually dynamic as it is action-packed.
Directed by Kitao Sakurai with a screenplay from Dalan Musson, the cast includes Andrew Koji, Noah Centineo, Callina Liang, Joe Anoa’i, David Dastmalchian, Cody Rhodes, Andrew Schulz, Eric André, Vidyut Jammwal, 50 Cent, Jason Momoa, Olivier Richters, Orville Peck, Hirooki Goto, Mel Jarnson, Rayna Vallandingham, Alexander Volkanovski, and Kyle Mooney.
Expect slow motion punches, gravity defying kicks, and the kind of stylized combat that is ripped straight from the arcades. There’s even a hint of the supernatural and sci-fi elements longtime fans will recognize, teasing something bigger lurking behind the tournament itself.
With its adrenaline fueled visuals, iconic characters, and crowd-pleasing tone, Street Fighter looks ready to deliver the knockout fans have been waiting for.
