The film is set in the vibrant backdrop of the Cape Winelands near Cape Town and immediately establishes its cultural relevance. At the heart of the story is the timeless narrative of identity and social status competing with expectations, reality and matters of the heart. Love and Wine is a beautiful film that will make you laugh and cry, poignant yet fun in its delivery, and anchored by the chemistry between the leads that feels authentic. The ensemble cast bolsters the narrative of self-discovery in a heartwarming journey of embracing love.
