Another one of Harlan Coben's bestselling novels has been adapted into a miniseries. The highly acclaimed novel "Run Away," published in 2019, premiered exclusively on Netflix on January 1, with all eight episodes available at once for your binge-watching pleasure. To date, Netflix has adapted 12 of Coben's best-selling novels, with the author also serving as executive producer.

The series is packed with endless secrets, twists, and turns. Just when you think you have it figured out, another twist emerges, keeping you guessing and on the edge of your seat. "Run Away" continues the tradition of Coben adaptations like Missing You and Fool Me Once, premiering on the first day of the New Year with a bang for thriller fans on streaming platforms. The series has already climbed to the top of Netflix's top ten list, proving that fans can't get enough of Coben's mysteries.

Produced by Quay Street Productions (Part of ITV Studios), the series follows Simon, who had the perfect life: a loving wife and kids, a great job, and a beautiful home. But then his eldest daughter Paige ran away and everything fell apart. So now when he finds her, vulnerable and strung out on drugs in a city park, he finally has the chance to bring his little girl home. But it turns out she's not alone, and an argument escalates into shocking violence. In the aftermath, Simon loses his daughter all over again, and his search to find her will take him into a dangerous underworld, revealing deep secrets that could tear his family apart forever.

Speaking with Netflix's Tudum, Coben shared, "Run Away is about family — about what we will do to keep our family intact, what secrets we keep within our family, and what secrets we keep as a family. Every time you walk past the house, there's a whole universe that goes on behind that door, and none of us have a clue what it is."

Check out Netflix for more adaptations of his novels, including Gone For Good, The Stranger, Stay Close, The Innocent, Hold Tight, The Woods, and Safe.
