After 15 years, Hank and Peggy Hill are back on television in the highly anticipated new season of the animated comedy "King of the Hill," exclusively on Hulu. This revival features 10 brand-new episodes and is the first time the hit series has released an entire season at once, unlike its previous run on FOX, which aired from January 1997 to September 2009.
Created by Mike Judge (Beavis and Butthead) and Greg Daniels (The Office), who return as executive producers, the series follows Hank Hill, his family, and their neighbors in the fictional suburb of Arlen, Texas. A hard-working, loyal family man and proud Texan, Hank sees himself as "the voice of common sense and reason in a world of incompetent sales clerks, meddling bureaucrats, and do-good liberals".

Most of the core cast have returned for the reboot. In addition to Mike Judge, lending their voices to the characters are Kathy Najimy, Pamela S. Adlon, Johnny Hardwick, and Stephen Root.
Mike Judge as Hank Hill/Boomhauer
Kathy Najimy as Peggy Hill
Pamela Adlon as Bobby Hill
Johnny Hardwick as Dale Gribble (recorded part of the season before his passing in 2023)
Toby Huss as Dale Gribble
Stephen Root as Bill Dauterive
Jonthan Joss as John Redcorn
Ronny Chieng as Kahn Souphanousinphone
"King of the Hill" hasn't missed a beat and the nostalgia is back in full swing as we see these beloved characters age over the 15 years since we last saw them. Hank and Peggy have recently returned from Saudi Arabia, and Bobby, who was always in middle school when we last saw him, is now a 21 year old chef at a Japanese and German fusion restaurant. The series continues to be hilariously funny as the Hills adapt to the new culture they find themselves in with amusing results with friends Dale, Boomhauer, and Bill.
Very rarely does a reboot stay true to the core elements that made the original series successful. However, in its 14th season and with nearly a sixteen year gap since the last episode, the show is better than ever successfully delivering on the key ingredients that made it special during its original run.
All 10 episodes of "King of the Hill" Season 14 are available to stream on Hulu.
