Taylor Sheridan's critically acclaimed series, Mayor of Kingstown, is back along with its star, Jeremy Renner, for the fourth season of the hit drama, exclusively on Paramount+. This season is darker, grittier, and arguably the best to date. With the addition of The Sopranos star Edie Falco, Mike McLusky has his hands full keeping order in a town where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. The new season premiered on October 26 and will have weekly rollouts till the season finale on December 28.

Mayor of Kingstown first premiered in 2021 and follows the McLusky family, led by Renner's Mike, as an ex convict thrust into the position as the top power broker in Kingstown, Michigan, after the death of his older brother in Seaosn 1 where multiple themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality affect the residents of the small town in and out of prison.

In season four, there's a new formidable warden in town. Mike's control over Kingstown is threatened as new players compete to fill the power vacuum left in the Russians' wake, compelling him to confront the resulting gang war and stop them from swallowing the town. Meanwhile, with those he loves in more danger than ever before, Mike must contend with a headstrong new Warden to protect his own while grappling with demons from his past.

In addition to Falco, some heavy hitters are added to this season, ramping up the drama and suspense and giving the series a full adrenaline rush of action and suspense. The series stars BAFTA Award winner Lennie James, Tony Award winner Laura Benanti, Hugh Dillon, Taylor Handley, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Hamish Allan-Headley, and Nishi Munshi.

The interactions between Falco and Renner are riveting, raising the tension in every measured scene as the walls for Mike keep closing in. He keeps drowning further into the abyss as he struggles to maintain control while trying to keep his brother alive, who was sent to prison after the explosive events of Season 3. As Falco's Nobb shrewdly tells him, "It's my castle now... do we understand each other?"

In addition to facing off with the new warden, Mike has to contend with new gangster Frank Moses, played by an excellent Lennie James, whose calm demeanor is just as soft as it is lethal. Moses is determined to partner with Mike and sells the idea of a criminal opportunity that's just a little too good to be true.

In Season 4, the stakes have never been higher with a new drug cartel and new stakeholders trying to lay claim to new territory deepening the corruption and forcing Mike to make impossible decisions that threaten everyone around him.

The first episode of Mayor of Kingstown is streaming now on Paramount+. Seasons 1-3 are also available to stream in their entirety exclusively on Paramount+.

Co-Creators are Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon. Mayor of Kingstown is produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions.
