Jack Black is devilishly funny in "Dear Santa"

Dear Santa is the hilarious new comedy from Paramount+, which debuted on November 25 and stars the incomparable Jack Black as Satan, who disguises himself as Santa when a young boy's wish gets sent to him by mistake due to the boy's spelling error. The devilish Satan intends to wreak havoc on Christmas and the Holidays!

Created by the Farrelly Brothers, best known for DUMB & DUMBER, the series is also created by Ricky Blitt and Dan Ewen, with Paramount Pictures distributing.

Dear Santa is laugh-out-loud funny from start to finish, and Jack Black does it again with his electric brand of humor. The movie is light-hearted, with a few twists that anchor the Holiday movie with even more laughs. Fans will appreciate Jack Black as he effortlessly plays the role of a likable Satan with a twist at the end leading to another twist. Robert Timothy Smith plays Liam, the dyslexic kid who accidentally writes a letter to Satan, and he is absolutely charming filled with the typical insecurities of a sixth grader that are magnified due to his dyslexia. Liam is trying to fit in as the new kid in school and is overwhelmed by his parents' constant arguing. He is also trying to get the attention of his crush, Emma, and when he uses one of the three wishes that Satan gives him, the shenanigans ensue with his best friend Gibby along for the ride.  

The film has touching moments and surprisingly tells a broader narrative addressing childhood issues and coping with loss, however it never wallows but remains light hearted with genuine heartfelt moments and a highly entertaining cameo by Post Malone with a few other surprises that will surely be a Holiday delight.
