First reported by Deadline, the announcement marks a major nostalgic comeback for fans who first fell in love with Nick and Suzanne back in 2005’s Are We There Yet? and its 2007 follow-up Are We Done Yet? as fans watched Nick Persons evolve from reluctant bachelor to full fledged family man. “We built something special with this franchise. Audiences grew up with Nick Persons, and now Nick’s got grandkids. Time flies,” Ice Cube shared in a statement. “Partnering with Skydance to bring this story to a new generation is exactly the kind of move CubeVision was built for, and I am excited for the new partnership.”
