There's a reason why Jax Stewart is L.A.'s fiercest criminal defense attorney and the person to call when you're knee deep in you know what. This season, Jax is back serving more drama in and out of the courtroom in Hulu's soapy legal drama. She fiercely defends her clients while battling office microaggressions and an ambitious associate in newcomer Power's Joseph Sikora, who plays Bill Sterling, an ambitious associate eager to become a partner at Jax's firm who may or may not be her ally. Also returning is Morris Chestnut as fan favorite Corey Cash, who created quite the stir in Season 2.

The new season premieres today with the first two of its ten episodes, with new episodes released every Thursday through the season finale on October 13.

Created, written, and executive produced by Raamla Mohamed, Reasonable Doubt is Onyx Collective's first scripted television series. Premiering back in 2022, it quickly became one of the most compelling dramas to watch. Anchored by Emayatzy Corinealdi's layered performance as Jacqueline "Jax" Stewart, Jax continues to be fiercely passionate about her clients and loyal to the people she cares about, while dealing with her own family drama and the strains in her marriage from her husband's former affair.

Season 3 picks up after the events in Season 2, with Jax saving her best friend from a life sentence, and discovering that Toni, with whom her husband Lewis had an affair, had filed a lawsuit against Lewis for the death of their baby. A year later, Jax is in now unfamiliar territory: peace, but peace means boring.

In Season 3, Jax's new client, an ex-child star once loved by millions, is now accused of murder, and he brings with him a whole entourage of enablers and a mess only she can untangle. As America gathers to watch his trial, Jax must contend with an ambitious new colleague and coworkers questioning her worth. The more complicated the trial becomes, the more Jax finds herself fighting both in and out of the courtroom and learning that winning can often come with unexpected consequences.

In addition to Corinealdi, the cast this season includes McKinley Freeman, Joseph Sikora, Tim Jo, and Angela Grovey. This season's recurring guest stars include Morris Chestnut, Kyle Barry, April Parker Jones, Keith Arthur Bolden, Richard Brooks, Pauletta Washington, Brittany Inge, Brandee Evans, Kash Doll, Rumer Willis, and Lori Harvey.

The series continues to tackle tough subject matters that continue to be culturally relevant today while delivering the soapy fun we have come to expect. Corinealdi continues to shine in the role as a complex character with layered emotions, trying to navigate the challenges of both her personal and professional life, making her highly relatable in this modern era.

Don't miss the third season of Reasonable Doubt. The first two episodes are available to stream today on Hulu.

Additional credits: Kerry Washington, Pilar Savone, Larry Wilmore, Anton Cropper, and Lena Cordina. Additionally, Shawn Holley, Jon Leshay, Tamara Gregory, Erika Harrison, and Zahir McGhee serve as co-executive producers on the show, hailing from Onyx Collective and producer 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.
