Yes, it's really happening. The show we've all been obsessing over, theorizing about, and emotionally recovering from week after week is coming back for another round.
Starring Emmy Award-winning actor Sterling K. Brown, who plays Agent Xavier Collins, the actor took to social media to share the news. If you've been watching, you already know Brown's been delivering the kind of performance layered in intensity and vulnerability that carried through all of Season 2, leaving us with… a lot. No spoilers, but let's say the stakes have never been higher, the relationships more complicated, and the twists more jaw dropping. Naturally, Season 3 is expected to pick up right in the chaos and somehow raise the bar even further.
The beginning of Season 2 saw Xavier leaving the Paradise bunker to search for his wife, Terri (Enuka Okuma), whom he believed was dead in the post apocalyptic setting. Per the Hollywood Reporter, the third season will be its last as creator Dan Fogelman had pitched a three season arc to end the series.
In addition to Brown, the supporting cast includes Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV, and Charlie Evans, with recurring guest stars James Marsden, Shailene Woodley, Thomas Doherty, and Jon Beavers.
While Hulu hasn't dropped a premiere date just yet, Season 2 has already left fans buzzing as Xavier has met other survivors and Jane's backstory was front and center in episode six. Not to mention, the teaser of the long awaited reunion between Xavier and Terri.
If the season is any indication, the season finale, which will drop on March 30, will end on another thrilling cliffhanger, leaving us on the edge of our seats for Season 3.
Paradise Season two is now streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
