"Hot Frosty" kick off the Holiday season with the newest rom-com

What happens when love warms the heart in the coldest of places? Netflix's newest rom-com stars Lacey Chabert (best known for Mean Girls and Party of Five) as Kathy, a young widow whose magical scarf brings a charismatic snowman (Dustin Milligan of Schitt's Creek fame) to life two years after losing her husband. As Kathy learns to love again with the hunky snowman, Hot Frosty kicks off the holiday season with Netflix's Christmas lineup.

Directed by Jerry Ciccoritti with a screenplay by Russell Hainline, the film is produced by Joel S. Rice and Michael Barbuto, with production companies Muse Entertainment and Netflix.

Through laughter and joy, Jack's innocence helps Kathy rediscover happiness just in time for the holidays. Milligan reveals to Netflix's Tudum that the whole world is brand new to him with Chabert echoing that although Kathy has experienced many Christmases before Jack, he changes everything for her as he's able to open Kathy's heart again to see the world with a little bit more of a childlike perspective. Chabert promises it's not all fun and laughter, as there are emotional elements as the two characters share a deep connection.

As the two love birds fall in love, they must find a way to keep their new found happiness before Jack melts! Watch this feel good movie when it premiers on Netflix on November 13, 2024.
