From the creator of This Is Us and Paradise, the new series brings family rivalries, football pressure, and a franchise fighting for its future.

Get ready for a new kind of family drama, where the stakes are high, the pressure is relentless, and winning is about much more than what happens on the field. Hulu has unveiled the first-look images for The Land, the upcoming drama from Dan Fogelman, the creator behind This Is Us and Paradise, offering an early glimpse at a series that puts family, football, and the future of an NFL franchise on a collision course.

Premiering February 15 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S., as well as Disney+ internationally, The Land takes viewers inside the world of the Cleveland Browns, where a struggling team needs a turnaround and the people running it face some difficult decisions. With a devoted fanbase demanding results, there is little room for mistakes, and the consequences could change everything.

The series follows head coach Danny Roarke, who is running out of chances to prove he can lead his team back to success. His latest opportunity comes in the form of a newly drafted Ohio State quarterback who happens to be his own son. Meanwhile, team owner Hal Durkin faces a family dilemma of his own as he weighs which of his two daughters should inherit control of the franchise. With careers, family relationships, and the team's future hanging in the balance, the battle for success extends far beyond game day.

Per the official synopsis, “After several disappointing seasons, Cleveland Browns’ head coach Danny Roarke has one last chance to turn around his football team. His fate rests on a newly drafted Ohio State quarterback — who just happens to be his son. Meanwhile, the owner, Hal Durkin, must decide which of his two daughters is best equipped to take over the team. ‘The Land’ is the story of two families, in which the high-stakes drama plays out not only on the field but also in the front offices of this NFL franchise, as a loyal fanbase wants a winning season now … or face big changes if they don’t.”

The series boasts an impressive ensemble led by Christopher Meloni, Mandy Moore, Chace Crawford, Sam Corlett, Tanner Zagarino, Chloe Bennet, Bridget Moynahan, William H. Macy, and Omar Epps.

Fogelman created the series and serves as executive producer and showrunner. Jess Rosenthal, Kevin Falls, and Justin Adler also executive produce, alongside David Ellison, Jesse Sisgold, and Jason T. Reed for Skydance Sports. The series is produced by 20th Television and Skydance Sports.
