Diehard fans of the "NCIS" franchise know Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva David (Cote De Pablo), the former agents from the hit CBS series "NCIS", whose insane chemistry had fans clamoring for them to be a romantic couple. Affectively known as "Tiva," the fantasy came to an end when de Pablo left the series in 2013, followed by Weatherly in 2016.
Now after two decades, the beloved duo is back with their highly anticipated series exclusively on Paramount+. The series debuted on September 4, 2025, with the first three of its ten episodes. New episodes will be released every Thursday, leading up to the season finale on October 23, 2025.
Produced by CBS Studios with creator and showrunner John McNamara, the series picks up after Ziva's supposed death, when Tony left the NCIS team to raise their daughter. Years later, Ziva was discovered alive, leading her to complete one final mission with NCIS before she was reunited with Tony and their daughter in Paris. Since then—and where we find them in NCIS: TONY & ZIVA—Tony and Ziva have been raising their daughter, Tali, together. When Tony's security company is attacked, they must go on the run across Europe, try to figure out who is after them, and maybe even learn to trust each other again so they can finally have their unconventional happily ever after.
In addition to Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly, the cast includes Amita Suman, Maximilian Osinski, Lara Rossi, Isla Gie, Nassima Benchicou, Terence Maynard, Julian Ovenden, and James D'Arcy.
The series will use flashbacks to explain why Ziva faked her death, giving viewers insight into the couple's past while connecting it to their present.
