The Dark Passenger is back, and Dexter Morgan is about to find himself surrounded by killers who could make even his own dark history look tame. Dexter: Resurrection returns for Season 2 on Friday, October 30 exclusively on Paramount+ with the Premium Plan, bringing Michael C. Hall back as the iconic serial killer just in time for Halloween and the 20th anniversary celebration of the Dexter franchise.
Following the explosive events of the first season, Dexter's life is about to become even more complicated as he gets pulled into a dangerous game involving two very different killers, forcing him to navigate a deadly landscape where the hunter could quickly become the hunted. One of those threats comes from Dan Stevens, who joins the series as the Five Borough Killer, a ruthless murderer terrorizing New York City while taunting authorities with phone calls and threatening innocent victims across the city.
Meanwhile, Brian Cox joins the series as the New York Ripper, a notorious killer whose bloody legacy continues to cast a shadow over the families of his victims, creating another dangerous connection to Dexter's increasingly complicated world. With Gabriel Luna also joining the cast as Ray Ballard, Dexter will have even more unpredictable players standing between him and his own carefully constructed plans.
Returning alongside Michael C. Hall are Jack Alcott as Harrison Morgan and Uma Thurman as Charley, while the expanding ensemble promises to push Dexter deeper into the dangerous world he has been trying to navigate since arriving in New York. As Dexter attempts to maintain control over his impulses while confronting increasingly dangerous adversaries, the new season is ready to explore just how far he is willing to go when the rules of his own code begin colliding with the chaos around him.

The timing of Season 2 makes the return even more fitting, with Dexter marking 20 years since the original series first introduced audiences to Dexter Morgan. Two decades after viewers first entered Dexter's twisted world, the franchise is bringing its signature combination of crime, suspense, dark humor and shocking kills back to the screen with another chapter that could put Dexter's survival instincts to their biggest test yet.
Michael C. Hall returns to lead the series, with Emmy-nominated showrunner and executive producer Clyde Phillips once again guiding Dexter's story as the series continues its evolution. Produced by Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios, Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 is shaping up to be another bloody ride filled with secrets, unpredictable alliances and killers who refuse to play by anyone else's rules.
