Alex Cross returns in the highly anticipated new season, premiering on February 11 on Prime Video, available in over 240 countries and territories worldwide. The new season will kick off with the first three episodes, followed by weekly releases leading up to the season finale on March 18, 2026.

Prime Video released the exciting trailer for the crime thriller series created and executive-produced by showrunner Ben Watkins. In the latest chapter, our favorite DC detective and forensic psychologist, known for his remarkable ability to delve into the minds of killers, returns to tackle a new case that leads to deadly consequences.

"Cross" is based on characters from James Patterson's bestselling "Alex Cross" novels. Aldis Hodge, who also serves as an executive producer, reprises his role as the titular character. We were first introduced to Cross on November 14, 2024. Grieving the loss of his wife, who was murdered, he pursued a serial killer while uncovering a deadly conspiracy linked to his family. The series has been praised for its cultural references to Washington, D.C., and its gritty realism, paying homage to both the novels and previous films. The first season quickly became a hit, with Hodge receiving rave reviews for his performance, drawing in over 40 million viewers globally within its first 20 days.

Season Two pushes the series into a bolder, more dangerous chapter as billionaire business titan Lance Durand (Matthew Lillard) calls the FBI for protection after receiving a death threat — one that links him to the murder of a billionaire playboy. Detective Alex Cross and FBI Agent Kayla Craig (Alona Tal) lead a new joint mission to protect Durand and to find the killer, who leaves behind gruesome clues. Meanwhile, John Sampson (Isaiah Mustafa), Cross' partner and longtime best friend, makes an unexpected connection.

Returning for Season 2 are Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Juanita Jennings, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, and Johnny Ray Gill. In addition to Watkins, who also appears in a recurring role this season, and Hodge, Cross is executive produced by Sam Ernst, Jim Dunn, J. David Shanks, Aiyana White, Craig Siebels, Owen Shiflett, James Patterson, Bill Robinson, and Patrick Santa.
