Brad Pitt is fighting for survival in the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness in “Heart of the Beast,” the upcoming adventure thriller from acclaimed filmmaker David Ayer. Paramount Pictures has released the trailer, offering audiences an intense first look at Pitt as Special Forces officer James Belmont, who finds himself stranded after a harrowing plane crash with his combat dog, Odin.
With no easy way out, James and Odin must rely on their training, instincts and unbreakable bond as they battle brutal conditions and the dangers surrounding them. The trailer promises plenty of action and suspense, but at the center of the story is the powerful relationship between a soldier and the loyal companion who refuses to leave his side.
The film reunites Pitt and Ayer, who previously worked together on “Fury,” while J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe also star. Written by Cameron Alexander, “Heart of the Beast” puts its characters against one of nature's most unforgiving environments, where survival becomes a test of strength, courage and loyalty.
With Brad Pitt leading the charge and Ayer bringing his signature intensity behind the camera, “Heart of the Beast” is ready to deliver a thrilling survival story with plenty of heart.
The film opens exclusively in theaters September 25, 2026.
